Victoria Munroe Fine Art at 67 East 80th Street, New York City presents exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, often juxtaposed with historical works on paper. The gallery maintains a selective inventory of European natural history drawings, herbaria, 19th century Beaux Arts Architectural drawings, French decorative arts on paper including textile designs, garden plans and more.

HISTORY

Victoria Munroe Gallery was established in 1983 on West 57th Street, New York. Representing emerging painters and sculptors the gallery expanded to West Broadway in 1983 and Prince Street in 1989.

From 2001 to 2012, Munroe was located on Newbury Street in Boston focusing on contemporary New England artists and 19th century works on paper.

In 2004 Victoria Munroe and Emily Goldstein co-founded The Drawing Room gallery in East Hampton, New York. The gallery presents seasonal exhibitions focused on contemporary and modern artists from the East End of Long Island. Victoria Munroe Fine Art is also a venue for DRAWING ROOM PROJECTS / NYC.
